Gary Steigman

Gary Steigman will write a chapter on the matter/antimatter asymmetry.

Dr. Steigman is professor emeritus at The Ohio State University and a fellow of the American Physical Society. He specializes in the physics of the early universe and the connection between particle physics and astrophysics. His foundational work on the matter/antimatter asymmetry paved the way for later research connecting early universe cosmology and particle physics. He continues to explore the connection between big bang nucleosynthesis, the cosmological microwave background radiation, dark matter, and dark energy.
